Disconnected tools

Every tool works, but none of them talk

Each tool was chosen for a good reason, and each one works well on its own. What is missing is anything running between them — so a person fills that gap, every day, by copying data.

It usually looks like this

  • The same data is entered into two or three different systems.
  • Reports are built by combining exports from several places.
  • The numbers in one system do not match another, and it is unclear which is right.
  • There is a routine job that consists purely of moving data from A to B.
  • There is no single place to open and see how things actually stand.

What we do about it

We trace where data moves and at which points that movement is done by hand. Often no tool needs replacing — what is missing is only the link between them.

  • Map which systems hold the same data.
  • Connect the ones with a proper integration path — payments, CRM, WhatsApp, accounting, internal databases.
  • Build a connector for the ones without, where that is worth the cost.
  • Provide one place to see the real state of things, without assembling exports.

What changes

Data is entered once and appears wherever it is needed. Reporting stops being an assembly job. And numbers disagreeing between systems stops being something to argue about.

When this is not worth building yet

If the copying happens occasionally and takes five minutes a week, an integration will never pay for itself. The ones worth connecting are the ones done daily.
